Luftgewehr Schützen  Airgun Schützen

Airgun Schützen was developed from the black powder, single loader precision shooting style comprised of off hand shooting and the use of a unique stair step support. Following the tradition as a pinnacle of marksmanship, the airgun adaptation is primarily designed for springers and break barrels with iron sights, known as the Konig (King) Class and  to be not only the most challenging competition but the most accessible as nearly any airgun can compete!

Konig Class

This is the closest airgun adaptation to what was shot at the Boerne Schutzen Verein. A 20 fpe limit, shot at 25m and using a 25 ring target with a 3/4″ bullseye. Iron sights. ( the powder version was originally 200yds, iron sights! ) This is a purist’s discipline and class intended to test marksmanship abilities worldwide.

Konigshof Class (King’s Court) – Dot sights

Pressluft ( PCP ) Class

Both classes were intended to be shot with equipment typically found in AAFTA style Field Target or Ultimate Field Target.
